Baldelli Shellfish Service Marsciano

This complete shellfish and seafood service illustrates the elegance of brasserie and reception tables. Made of thick ironstone (Ironstone Tableware), this seven-piece set from the prestigious Italian manufacturer Ceramiche Baldelli Marsciano features an ecru hue highlighted by a double marine-style blue border on the rim. The bottom of the basin reveals a remarkable marine composition depicting an accumulation of mussels and shrimp, entirely signed by the hand of the decorative painter J. Recourt. The back of each piece bears the official stamp of the Baldelli house (CBM under royal crown), mentioning the registered design patent as well as the manufacturing date 5-90 (May 1990).
