Set of 5 soup plates – Creil & Montereau – Œillet model

A real favorite for these 5 ironstone soup plates, stamped Creil & Montereau, in the famous “Œillet” model. A refined decoration that transcends time, produced between the end of the 19th century and the 1930s, at the height of the emerging Art Deco style. Their stylized floral motif, in warm tones of ochre and brown, is delicately highlighted by an orange-brown line, typical of this iconic line. Stamped Creil & Montereau oeillet. Diameter 23 cm, height 3 cm. Good condition for their age. Some pieces have an old patina and fine cracks, which only underline their authenticity and their history, one plate has two hairline cracks (see photos). Ideal for autumn tables and perfect for dressing a chic flea market buffet.
