Vintage Gien Gondolo Biscuit dessert plate set

This pair of dessert plates made of Gien earthenware was created for Biscuits Gondolo, as evidenced by the original marking on the back. Their simple design, featuring a wide blue border highlighted by a yellow line and a small central figure, makes them a lovely example of 20th-century French advertising crockery. They show a slight patina as well as some signs of use related to their age, visible in the photographs. Dimensions: 19cm in diameter.
