John Lewis Shonborn oil on canvas painting with Arabian rider, dating from around 1900. Beautiful painting by John Lewis Shonborn (1852-1931) depicting an Arabian rider with a rifle. It is signed at the lower left and on the right the text 'a l’ami P. Bocquentin', presumably painted for a friend or as a gift. On the back of the frame in pencil: 'Cavelier Arbic'. In neat condition and in the original frame.
