Pair of low chairs called "la cachette" in oak from the 1960s/70s, selected by Charlotte Perriand. These seats come from the La Cachette residence, located in the Les Arcs 1600 ski resort in the French Alps. Charlotte Perriand, famous French architect and designer, led the creation of the Les Arcs ski resort from 1967 to 1989. She was responsible for the town planning and architecture of the buildings, as well as the interior design and furniture . At the time, very large buildings were created, with a large number of apartments, including a residence called La Cachette, which has now become a luxury hotel. These low chairs come from this building and were present in the apartments. They are a choice and selection by Charlotte Perriand, who supervised the interior decoration of the apartments and buildings, for which she created numerous decorative pieces. furniture and lighting. The oak structures were carefully sanded to remove worn varnish and then oiled. The cushions have been completely redone, with new foams and 100% pure wool fabric. The files are easily removable to save space during transport.
