Rare very beautiful covered vase or Persian pottery jar, Iznik, turquoise entirely hand-painted with traditional floral, vegetal, and geometric patterns in black. Vintage from the 50s-60s. Unsigned. Relatively large, baluster shape, rounded belly, small round foot, slightly flared neck, small lid with a high knob. Nice craftsmanship, fine decoration, beautiful glazing. 35 cm in total height, approximately 17 cm in maximum diameter. Very good condition, some natural cracks in the glazing, superficial and discreet, a few small discreet manufacturing defects, a small very discreet restoration on the lid, see photos. Approximately 1.2 kg.
