Large vintage vase in glazed ceramic, or majolica, from the 1960s-1970s. Probably of Italian or Spanish manufacture, with a fully incised decoration of friezes and stylised patterns highlighted in white on a nuanced turquoise background reminiscent of certain productions from Vallauris in the style of Alix Grand or Robert Picault. Attractive baluster shape, wide trumpet neck, and small pedestal. The inscription "F-4" is visible under the base. 31.5 cm high and 19-20 cm maximum diameter. Very good overall condition. Notable is a small chip under the lower edge of the foot, which is invisible once placed. Just above, a slight thickness of the glaze seems to correspond to a firing defect or a discreet old repair. A few very light signs of use. Weighs approximately 1.8 kg.
