The Maximeub workshop offers this beautiful schoolmaster's desk (or administration desk / workshop master's desk) made of oak from the 1930s to 1950, which has been completely stripped. It is ready to be varnished, oiled, waxed, etc. This model features a double pedestal typical of mid-20th century furniture, very characteristic of the National Education or French administrations. There is a stamped mark at the back of a drawer ("Seine..."), confirming its administrative/public origin. It has 7 side drawers and one central drawer. The handles are integrated shell/pont style in solid wood. It is in very good condition and sturdy. The side and back panels are also moulded, allowing it to be placed in the centre of a room. There is the option to apply a clear matte or satin varnish finish, medium oak satin varnish, light oak satin varnish, golden oak satin varnish, or dark oak matte varnish for an additional €100. For other finishes, please add the cost of the varnish. Width 137 cm, depth 78 cm, height 62/77 cm.
