Crystal Art Deco vase from the Moser manufactory, made in the 1930s in Karlovy Vary (then Czechoslovakia), is an example of excellent craftsmanship and sophisticated interwar design. The entire piece is made of transparent crystal with a subtle, cool yellow hue and high clarity. The tall, slender silhouette with clearly defined, faceted surfaces shows the typical Art Deco love for simple geometry and a rich play of light. The elliptically elongated form gently narrows towards the top and is based on an octagonal base. The surface is perfectly polished to a shine and bears no additional decorations except for the expressiveness of the cut itself. The product is signed, with no visible damage or signs of repair; the condition is very good – the vase shows no signs of intensive use or scratches. Worthy of the voice of the 1930s, the Moser vase tells a story of modernist elegance and a longing for the nobility of the material. Its precise facets scatter light on the walls of the living room like a piece of graphic art, and the raw, transparent colour scheme emphasises the era's trust in the purity of form. Looking at this shape, one has the impression that it evokes a harmonious world of new geometry — a sculpture locked in crystal. The surface evokes the image of morning light reflecting in the windows of a modernist villa, and the vase itself seems to whisper of times when home decorations were meant to be a synthesis of simplicity and luxury. This vase will work perfectly in an interior inspired by Art Deco, modernism, or among vintage collector's accessories. It can be combined with a massive walnut or macassar console, where the expressive, faceted form will be displayed against the background of matte wood. It is worth pairing it with a low, geometric lamp or a single, wide leaf — so that the pure surface of the crystal can fully present its brilliance. In a neutral interior with subdued colours, the vase will gain the character of a contemporary accent, and in the company of other objects from the 1930s, it will emphasise the collector's dimension of the whole.
