Franco Albini Fiorenza model armchair

Rare "Fiorenza" armchair designed by Franco Albini in 1952 for Arflex, Italy. The wooden base has a beautiful patina. A symbol of comfort, the Fiorenza armchair appeared in 1950s Pirelli advertising as a potential symbol of foam rubber, considered at the time to be the most technologically advanced material used in upholstered furniture.
