Originally developed for Nordiska Kompaniet (NK), this armchair is renowned for its sculptural bent wood structure and its ergonomic, welcoming shape. The black lacquered beech frame, with its graceful curves, showcases Ruda's mastery of lamination techniques and his keen sense of proportions and comfort. Its open architectural structure gives it a light visual presence, while the generously angled seat and backrest invite relaxation. The original red fabric upholstery is in good vintage condition, with slight signs of wear, and the inner foam has been recently replaced.
