Napoleon III Jardinière in Boulle Marquetry. Superb Napoleon III jardinière in ebonized wood, decorated with Boulle marquetry combining brass and mother-of-pearl. Its elegant curved base highlights the finesse of the cabinetmaking of the second half of the 19th century. Gilt brass ornamentation, finely chiseled sabots and frames. French work, circa 1880.
