Rare French Art Nouveau Cloisonne Brass Champagne Cooler with Orchid E

A striking French cloisonné ice bucket in yellow brass, richly decorated with a hand-applied orchid motif in softly toned enamels. Inspired by the Art Nouveau movement and its love of botanical forms, this elegant piece features a gently flared body on a stepped circular foot with solid turned brass side handles. The raised cloisonné decoration is beautifully detailed, with delicately outlined stems, leaves, and orchid blooms in warm pinks and greens against a luminous pearlescent ground. The interior is plain metal, suitable for chilling wine or champagne.
