Pale Pink Glass Vase "Cartoccio" by Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte, Italy

The design is of the 30s, but this vase is made in the 1970s. This vase was designed by pietro chiesa and manufactured by fontana arte. It is made in pale pink with blue shades etched and heat soaked glass and has a very nice ‘cartoccio’ (paper bag) shape. Since the manufacturing process of these vases was manual, each vase is different and one-of-a-kind. It is a vintage piece, therefore it might show slight traces of use, but it can be considered as in excellent original condition. Measures: diameter: 33 cm. Height: 23.5 cm.
