Square earthenware dish of the baca series, one of the last series designed by nils thorsson (1898-1975) for aluminia whose name disappeared in 1969 to make way for that of royal copenhagen. It is marked under the base: 734 for the decoration created by nils thorsson and 2883 for the shape created by nils thorsson in 1960, as well as nils thorsson's signature inscribed in a ring. Indeed, the word baca meaning "ring", the signature of each artist who created a decor, appears in a circle on the back of each piece in the series. The small bar under the "g" of copenhagen, indicates that this dish was produced between 1969 and 1973.
