Oak dining room table early 20th century

This beautiful piece of furniture served for many years as a library table. The solid oak base is very likely to be older than the beech top. The table is after a renovation that allowed to preserve some historical subtle traces of use, signs of time and its original patina - names and dates left by the users of the library at the back of the top gold initials craved on the sides. Finished in high quality wax it got a refreshed look and is prepared for everyday use e.g. as a dining or kitchen table.
