Antique baroque wardrobe in walnut and fabric, Piedmont, Italy, 18th century

Eighteenth-century Piedmontese baroque armoire made from precious walnut wood. The façade features a pair of doors with bipartite panels, enhanced by relief scrollwork panels at the top, giving the piece significant visual depth and timeless elegance. The uprights are decorated with three panels each, stylistically consistent with the rest of the structure. The double-console feet add stability and a touch of sophistication to the whole. The back has been replaced with fir, while the interiors are lined with green fabric, offering an interesting colour contrast and a sense of freshness.
