Postmodern Italian floor lamp Tao by Barbaglia & Colombo for PAF Studio

Elegant floor lamp in the postmodern design language of the Italian manufacturer PAF Studio, based on a design by Barbaglia and Colombo. A delicate design with finely executed details. At the upper end of a long axis is a flat, round bowl. At the lower end, the stem is embedded in a heavy base plate. The filigree stem tilts diagonally and features a drop-shaped cross-section to ensure stability. In contrast, the power line is vertical. The cast iron base plate is elevated off the ground with feet, creating a floating effect. An ornamental detail is the curved 'cable channel' in the base plate. The space is the continuation of the current power cable outside the plate. A sliding dimmer can be used to adjust the brightness.
