Duna postmodern floor lamp by Barbaglia & Colombo for PAF Studio, 1980s

Rare floor lamp from the Duna series by the Italian manufacturer Paf Studio. An elegant design from Italy. The body of the Duna luminaire is a flat, rectangular disc located at the end of an arm. The plate is slightly curved at one point. With fine surface grooves, this bulge has an almost organic appearance. A particular detail is the elegant connection between the pole and the body of the luminaire through a gap. The black colour of the entire lamp also characterises this design. The lamp head can be tilted, and the direction of the light can be individually adjusted, from ceiling lighting to wall light or reading lamp. The lamp is height adjustable. The pole can be easily pulled upwards. The striking base and the lower part of the pole are distinguished from the rest of the lamp by a matte structured finish.
