Superb GUL vase made by Otto Brauer for Holmegaard (Denmark) in green and measuring 43cm. Original Holmegaard Kastrup label missing. This blown glass vase was designed by Otto Brauer for Holmegaard in the 1960s. An iconic model of Danish design, recognisable by its slender silhouette and narrow neck. It is presented here in its bottle green version, which is one of the first colours produced in 1962. Very beautiful glass shine. Piece in perfect condition. Height: 43 cm, body diameter: 17 cm. Very high quality, with no scratches or chips. As shown in the photos, I have 2 other Gulvases for sale measuring 26 and 38cm. Another one will soon be listed in light blue and measuring 26cm in height. ------------ Otto Brauer (1911–1984) began his career in the Danish glass industry at just 14 years old. He is now best known for his "Gulvase" (floor vase) series for Holmegaard. Designed in 1962, these vases feature bottle shapes, pop colours, and joyful expressions.
