Camphre wooden box - first half of the 20th century

Beautiful probably wooden travel chest from camphre from the early twentieth century. Bronze central handle, rings to secure a padlock and black metal side handles. The camphor, recognizable by its good smell, was used for its insect repellent properties. Good general condition, beautiful patina of use.
