Gösta asp (1929–2020) was a swedish artist known for his vibrant and expressive painting style, which often drew inspiration from nature and landscapes. Born in växjö, sweden, asp developed a passion for art early in life, and he later honed his skills through formal training at art schools and independent study. He has had solo exhibitions in stockholm, gothenburg, helsingborg, malmö and norrköping. He received the city of stockholm's artist scholarship in 1965 and the state's great work scholarship in both 1967 and 1968.
