Terrestrial globe RDA 1970s

Very nice globe from the 1970s! Published by the German company Veb Rathgloben-Verlag based in Leipzig (GDR), model released for sale in French version in 1975 with a rotating spherical structure made of glass covered with colour-printed paper by Hermann Haack, mounted on a metal pivoting axis with a plastic magnifying glass, circular wooden base with integrated switch, scale 1: 38, 600, 000. A timeless piece that, once lit, will be even more decorative! Good condition. Missing varnish on the base. H: 45 cm D: 33 cm.
