Four chairs by Colette Gueden, 1950s/60s, in black lacquered metal, with tapered legs, fully reupholstered seats using high-density foam and ecru hemp fabric. Colette Gueden was a decorator from the 1950s who spent her entire career at the Atelier Primavera, eventually becoming the director of this decoration workshop at the Printemps store. These chairs are very elegant with their fine and airy structure. There are some signs of wear on the paint of the backs; see close-up photos. Seat height 47 cm.
