Description
Very rare naval brass 3 arm full circular protractor with large folding sights – ussr 1960. Originally from the soviet navy, this "prm" reporter is a maritime navigation device designed to map the location of a ship determined by two horizontal angles between three coastal landmarks. It dates from the year 1960. This three arm protractor is in very nice shape for it's age. Included are the three extensions legs. Brass could be polish if you prefer it more shiny. No attempt was made at cleaning or polishing. It may be missing a small accessory tool that fits in the lid of the box. The wood box is in ok shape it has some scuffs and scratches matching its age and proof of usage. Specs: Box: 400x210x65 mm. Protractor: ø125 mm, length: 360 mm - 590 mm with extended legs. Nice piece of ussr maritime history.
