Large Murano glass floor lamp, most likely desidned by Carlo Nason, and manufactured by Mazzega in Italy in the 1970s. It represents the iconic Space Age and mid-century lighting design of the period. The overall lamp size is H: 104 cm, diameter: 36 cm. The lamp features a sculptural silhouette, formed entirely from Murano glass, which softly diffuses the light and creates a warm, atmospheric glow. Its organic, rounded form is perfectly balanced by a chromed band, adding a subtle modern contrast to the milky glass shade. This lamp is a timeless decorative piece that works beautifully in mid-century modern, space age, or contemporary interiors. It functions equally well as an ambient light source and as a sculptural object. The original cord and switch has been preserved. Additional information: Cable length 240 cm. Cable length to the switch 60 cm. It requires 2 E27 bulbs. The lamp is in perfect vintage condition, with the glass and chrome well preserved and showing only minor signs of use.
