Murano Glass Floor Lamp Model Birillo Mid-Century Italian Space, 1960s

Impressive Space Age floor lamp made in Italy with two bodies in different coloured glass. This rare lamp impresses with its materiality and organic design language. The two large diffusers, also in opal glass, are connected in the middle by a heavy cuff secured with screws. The upper part is spherical, while the lower part is tulip-shaped, forming a base. The light highlights the shape of the lamp's body while bathing the room in a special lighting atmosphere. The lamp has two light points. One light source illuminates the upper diffuser, while the second illuminates the lower diffuser, which also forms the base. The lamp has 2 cord switches so that both parts can be turned on separately. It is in very good condition and shows little signs of wear.
