A beautiful pair of Art Deco bridge chairs, made in France around 1920. A very attractive model with clean lines, reminiscent of the designs of André Sornay. The frame is made of varnished, mahogany-stained beechwood. The sprung seats and webbing backs have been reupholstered by a professional and re-covered in a natural ecru mottled velvet fabric with silver nailhead trim for a truly modern look. These bridge chairs measure 55 cm wide (45 cm between the center armrests), 57 cm deep, and 80 cm high at the back, 47 cm at the seat, and 64 cm at the center of the armrests. This is a lovely pair of bridge chairs in excellent condition (only a few minor imperfections in the varnish, which do not detract from their appearance). They are of very high quality, with a classic style that is also perfectly in line with current decorating trends and will suit any interior.
