Pair of Art Deco bridge chairs, France circa 1930

Very beautiful pair of bridge armchairs from the end of the Art Deco period, made in France around 1930. A lovely model with clean lines in the spirit of the creations of Maison Leleu. The structure is made of beech wood stained walnut and varnished. One will notice the chic of the suspended armrests with a rounded profile and the quality of the curved tapered legs at the front and saber legs at the back. Completely refurbished by an upholsterer specifically for their sale and covered in a superb textured chenille velvet fabric in natural ecru tones with matte silver studding for a true modern style. These bridge armchairs measure 80 cm in height at the back, 47 cm at the seat, 58 cm in width, and 54 cm in depth. Height at the centre of the armrests is 69 cm. This is a lovely pair of armchairs being offered, of high quality and in perfect condition, which will be ideal in a living room, an office, or even a bedroom.
