Antique oil wall lamp – Sun mirror and white opaline

Superb antique wall light, dating presumably from the early 20th century. It is distinguished by its magnificent circular reflector measuring 29 cm in diameter, made up of facets of old mirrors arranged like sun rays, surrounded by a delicate pierced metal frieze decorated with palmettes. The wall light retains its old white opaline reservoir as well as its finely crafted brass burner. The mirrors show a beautiful authentic patina, with some pitting, stains, and alterations to the silvering. The metal parts also show signs of oxidation, evidence of its age. Formerly electrified, this lamp has a bulb installed inside the opaline reservoir. The electrical wire is cut to about 50 cm. Installation untested, to be checked before use. A unique decorative piece, full of charm and authenticity. Dimensions: reflector diameter 29 cm.
