Audoux&Minet armchair Vibo Vesoul 1940s

Iconic armchairs from the 1950s, from the famous VIBO Vesoul manufacture. Genuine collector's pieces of French design "Reconstruction", in the style of the work of Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet. Characteristics: Structure: Solid stained beech, with wide, curved armrests offering a unique modernist line. Seat and backrest: Original jute rope (or braided rye straw) weaving. Condition: Almost new. This is a rare point for this model: the weaving is perfectly taut, without any snags or discolouration. The wood has retained its beautiful original shine. Marking: Stamped "VIBO VESOUL" under the frame (see photos).
