Set of 4 dining chairs by Artesanos Don Bosco

Set of 4 dining chairs designed and produced by Artesanos Don Bosco in Chacas, in the Peruvian Andes, in the 1990s. These chairs are made using a tongue and groove assembly technique, offering a more intricate sculpture than the classic hammer and nail method. The wood is handcrafted, with each chair featuring a typically undulating surface. Each piece is unique, and the artisan engraves his name under the seat. This lot was created by Edgar Villalón. Beautiful mortise and tenon joints with richly decorated backs on structures entirely made of cedar. Very good condition. Stamped by the workshop and engraved by Edgar Villalón under the seat.
