Italian mid-century bar cabinet attributed to Carlo Hauner and Martin Eisler, Italy 1960s

This Italian mid-century bar cabinet was made in the 1960s. Based on its construction, we assume it was designed by Carlo Hauner and Martin Eisler and made by Forma. It pertains especially to combining rosewood and teak and perforated wooden curved front. Overall size is H: 111 / W: 150 / D: 100 cm. A refined contrast of materials defines the piece: the top surfaces are veneered in richly grained rosewood and are framed with thick, rounded rosewood moldings, while the sides are finished in warm teak veneer. The front is composed of overlapping teak slats, creating a distinctive decorative effect. Inside, the cabinet offers two glass shelves, providing practical storage for bottles and glassware. Additional dimensions: Ground clearance is 26 cm, Under tabletop clearance is 19 cm. The bar remains in very good vintage condition, with very minor signs of age. The brass parts are covered with a natural patina, developed over time, which enhances its character and serves as a testament to the cabinet age and originality. There are no stains or defect, which is very rare for a bar cabinet of this age.
