Here is a charming stoneware dish with a beautiful grey glaze speckled with black and brown, adorned with a delicate blue flower in the bottom, with just a touch of turquoise on a leaf, an adorable little detail that enhances the decor. This wonderful glaze is characteristic of the workshop of the ceramicist couple Chantal and Thierry Robert, who signed their work "Atch", in a workshop named "le grès du loir" that they created in 1973 in Poncé-sur-Loir. A bit forgotten in the history of ceramics, they were very active and innovative from the 1960s until the 1990s. This dish is quite original as there are few, at least in my experience, ceramics signed Atch that feature both this particular glaze and an added decoration. The result of beautiful artisanal work, it bears the Atch stamp in relief underneath. It probably dates from the mid-1970s or the early 1980s. It can serve multiple purposes, from decorative ceramics complementing a collection, to a dish placed on the table during aperitifs, or even as an original catch-all in an entrance or bathroom. It is in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips, or even a scratch. It measures 23 cm in length, 15.5 cm in width, and approximately 3.5 cm in height.
