Exceptional four-piece modular sofa produced in Czechoslovakia circa the 1970s, characterized by generous sculptural proportions, deep seating and the soft rounded forms associated with Space Age and late Mid-Century design. The seating group consists of four individual modules, providing considerable flexibility in configuration. The pieces can be assembled into one substantial sofa measuring approximately 273 cm (107.48 in) wide or separated to create individual lounge chairs and alternative conversational seating arrangements. The design is particularly notable for its substantial upholstered volumes.
