Chair bought in 2002, bottom of the feet tarnished, two light halos on the seat. The ch24 chair, also called wishbone in reference to its "y" backrest, reminiscent of the shape of the bone of happiness (wishbone in english), is one of hans wegner's most famous chairs. It has indeed met with unprecedented commercial success for the designer and would have greatly contributed to making denmark a leader for more than half a century, proof of its continued success. First designed in 1949, for carl hansen, the production of the chair has never stopped since.
