We assume this name refers to Sophia Loren, a personal friend of Willy Rizzo. There is little information available about the company BD Lumica. It is only known that many lamps are made with square brass rods that have a very refined finish. Some design specialists attribute the design to Willy Rizzo. BD Lumica is a company based in Barcelona, Spain. However, the company BD Lumica Design, a renowned manufacturer of lighting, originates from the Barcelona company Lumica.
