We assume this name refers to Sophia Loren, a personal friend of Willy Rizzo. There is little information available about the company BD Lumica. It is only known that many lamps are made with square brass rods that have a very refined finish. Some design specialists attribute the design to Willy Rizzo. BD Lumica is a company based in Barcelona, Spain. However, the company BD Lumica Design, a renowned manufacturer of lighting, originates from the Barcelona company Lumica. Each piece is stamped and authenticated, as you can see below. The initials "BD" also appear in their logo. BD Lumica Design is known for its renowned designers.
