Empty pocket with lid in polychrome enameled stoneware. Signed piece. This is a beautiful rustic enameled stoneware from the Fontgombault Abbey, in Indre, Creuse Valley, in the Centre Val de Loire region. The abbey houses a pottery workshop for utilitarian stoneware made by Benedictine monks. Very beautiful craftsmanship, beautiful, very lively enamel with multiple shades around blue. Production from the 1960s. In very good condition.
