This hummingbird was created by edouard-marcel sandoz, all on a red marble base. It displays all the characteristics of this artist; the work is very cubist. Edouard-marcel sandoz was a swiss figurative and animal sculptor and watercolor painter (1881-1971). He worked with various materials, including marble, bronze, and ceramics. His style owes much to art nouveau. He was particularly interested in animal sculpture, notably fennec foxes and rabbits, of which he produced numerous representations. Regarding the condition, note that the bird's beak is deformed, there is verdigris in several places, a hole on the top of the head, and an accident on the marble. The whole remains presentable, but not perfect. Our photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the work. Please examine the photos carefully. Feel free to zoom in. The photos are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: height: 11 cm width: 11 cm depth: 4.6 cm - base height: 2.8 cm width: 7 cm depth: 4.6 cm m3520.
