We are delighted to offer for sale this superb Gainsborough armchair in George II style, featuring a hand-carved beech wood frame and hand-dyed brown leather upholstery. The leather upholstery is of the Chesterfield type, buttoned on the back, made from premium old-fashioned studded bovine leather. This armchair exhibits a beautiful patina due to its age, with wood that has a pleasant hue. The armchair has been carefully cleaned, hand-conditioned, waxed, and polished. It measures 89 cm in height (seat height 50 cm), 55 cm in width, and 54 cm in depth. Please note that vintage items like this naturally show signs of wear, cracks, and creases in the leather. Regular waxing is recommended to preserve the leather.
