This blue ironstone compote from Saint-Amand, model Primax, is a true invitation to travel. Its Arabesque decor, finely drawn in a deep blue, evokes the Eastern influences cherished in the decorative arts of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, where exoticism fed the imagination of the great French manufacturers. This compote naturally finds its place on a vintage, bohemian, or eclectic table. Ideal for presenting sweet treats or petits fours, this compote will also be perfect as a decorative piece! An antique set that has gracefully withstood the test of time and is ready to write a new story. In good condition for a century-old dish, with a chip on the rim and signs of use (see photos). Flat and deep plates of the same model are available. đ Diameter 24 cm X height 12.5 cm. Weight of the compote: approximately 850 g.
