Compote dish Terre de fer H. Boulenger & Cie – Gagny model – Blue floral decoration

Charming low footed compote in ironstone from the Hippolyte Boulenger & Cie factory, Gagny model, dating from the late 19th century. It features an elegant dark blue floral decoration on an ivory background, with a lovely central rosette and a floral frieze around the edge and foot. A beautiful antique piece, ideal for completing a service or adding an authentic touch to a table setting. Condition: Generally good condition for its age. Beautiful patina marked by traces of colour and enamel crazing. There is a fine hairline on the reverse, visible in the photos. Diameter: 21 cm Height: 5.5 cm Weight: 550 g
