Ico & Luisa Parisi Rare Set of Six Mid-century Modern Velvet Dining Chairs

Ico & Luisa Parisi for Ariberto Colombo, Cantù, set of six rare rosewood dining chairs. Sculptural structure with slightly curved butterfly-shaped padded back, padded seat suspended on the pointed corner supports of the underlying X-frame and tapered legs with brass ferrules. Completely restored and recently upholstered in textured blue velvet. This particular model is rare, well documented, and more sculptural with generous proportions than simpler versions of this chair.
