This set of six dining chairs was manufactured by the British furniture maker G-Plan during the 1960s, based on a design by Danish designer Ib Kofod-Larsen. The chairs are a characteristic example of Mid-Century Modern design, combining Scandinavian simplicity with functionality and carefully crafted woodworking details. The chairs are crafted from teak wood and feature wide, gently curved backrests with softly rounded edges. Their shape follows the natural curve of the back, providing comfortable support when seated. Each chair rests on four tapered legs, giving the design a light and elegant silhouette. The set has undergone professional woodwork and upholstery restoration, enhancing the natural grain and warm tones of the teak wood. As part of the upholstery restoration, the upholstery interiors of the seats have been replaced, and the chairs have been reupholstered in new black genuine leather.
