Vintage alabaster vase

A lovely small urn in warm honey-coloured alabaster, made by the Spanish manufacturer Mijos. The classic baluster shape — flared neck, generous central part, circular stepped base — highlights the natural translucency and delicate veins that make alabaster so appealing as a decorative material. Label under the base: MIJOS. ALABASTRO. Height: approximately 17 cm. Condition: good vintage condition with some surface marks consistent with age and use. Small chips present on the edge of the neck. The piece displays well and the material remains vibrant.
