This rare ceramic vase was produced by the Staatliche Majolika Manufaktur Karlsruhe, also known as Karlsruher Majolika, and designed by Fridegart Glatzle, a prominent post-war designer. The vase features a unique square design with four rounded corners, resting on a foot. It is adorned with a pale yellow thick glaze in an angular pattern over a matte brown glaze, resembling a giraffe pattern, and exhibits characteristic bubbles typical of fat lava glaze. Friedegart Glatzle (b.1920) joined Karlsruher Majolika in 1951 and created a wide range of designs over the next 30 years. This vase serves as a striking decorative piece, adding character and charm to any interior space. Its unique design makes it a standout conversation piece and a collector's item for enthusiasts of ceramic art.
