Bronze and gilded brass "gooseneck" table lamp, fully restored, dating from the early 1900s. The dating is quite precise as the original assembly was very rudimentary: no drilling in the bronze base, the braided cable passed through the adjustment joint (!) and simply hung down, original socket in copper and ceramic, ... The lamp has therefore been completely disassembled, the bronze base properly drilled, and adequate protection installed to prevent wire shearing. The cast iron weight has been milled to allow the new braided cable, similar to the original model, to pass through. A vintage switch (active on both phases) and a new plug have been installed; finally, a new felt pad has been placed on the base. The lamp is ready for use; you just need to install an E14 LED bulb (I will leave my energy-saving bulb on the lamp to show the type of bulb that suits it best). Height approximately 27 cm -- base diameter 13.5 cm -- weight of the lamp alone 1.8 kg.
