Stoneware bird designed by Joseph Simon for Søholm Denmark 1960-70s. Joseph Simon was born in 1934 in Hungary and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. In the late 1960s he started working at Søholm. The bird is not signed but we know it is Søholm/Joseph Simon. And it's not the size that makes this bird delicious, but simply the design and glazing. It is 5 X 5 cm in length/width and 4.5 cm in height. It weighs approximately 80 grams. Packed securely and sent with insurance.
