Mexican vintage black clay pottery cat sculpture figurine

This is an antique mexican figurine of a black cat made of terracotta, hand-made. The details are sculpted in the clay and the blue and green colors are painted on top. The figurine is mainly black in color. It is hollow inside. Vintage from the 1960s, the statuette is unsigned but may correspond to a work by manuel felguerez barra. The inscription "hecho en mexico" is found on the back of the sculpture. Dimensions: height: 12 cm X width: 11 cm, depth: 3 cm. Weight: 310 g this is a decorative statuette. The figurine should be placed delicately on a very flat surface because the base of the sculpture is slightly rounded. In good vintage condition with a few small scratches and shocks here and there proportional to age. This is a beautiful piece in the style of mexican art to offer to a cat collector.
