Italian ceramic vase Angelo Mangiarotti for Fratelli Brambilla - 1960s Angelo Mangiarotti (1921 - 2012) was a multi-talented Italian artist and one of the greatest designers of the 20th century. He is known for his marble tables and his Design-Light, but he also left his mark on ceramics. During his career, he designed several avant-garde ceramic vases and sculptures for several companies. In the case of Fratelli Brambilla, he made a series of vases in different shapes, sizes and colors. This model features a bright indigo blue glaze. Signed under the base and original label Good general condition. No chip but a slight crack on one of the sides, see behind photo. Not very visible.
